BELT DRIVE "EQUALIZER" KIT FOR BIG TWIN 4 SPEED

The "Equalizer" is designed to couple the engine to the transmission when incorporating an open belt drive primary drive system. It must be used in conjunction with an alternator cover such as our 77306 and a transmission mainshaft support such as our 78507. Also use our 77349 support bearing. The main objective of the "Equalizer" is to eliminate the transmission from cocking under high torque applications and prevents the primary belt from losing adjustment or alignment. The slotted holes of this die cast aluminum plate provides approximately one inch of fore and aft transmission adjustment. For personal safety and good looks, we high recommend using our 77302 steel belt shroud for up to 2" wide belt drives, or our 77304 steel belt shroud for 3" wide belt drives. To finish off the combination, use our 77305 side belt guard. Includes mounting hardware and instructions. Fits Big Twin 4 speed 1970/Later.
