Special (Custom) Orders
If
you want a product not listed with Vital V-Twin Cycles or listed and labeled as Special & or Custom Order, we will try
to find it for you. If a special order is cancelled, a 10% cancellation
fee will be charged. There are no returns/refunds allowed on special
orders upon completion and or delivery to our location and/or prior to
arrival at invoiced shipping address.
Parts Order Cancellation
Any item withdrawn from sale is subject to a minimum 10% cancellation fee that will be deducted from payment. Parts
orders with a retail cost of $500.00 or higher will require a 100% down
payment/ payment in full at the time of order. If an order of $500.00 or higher is
canceled, a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted. We reserve the right on any order containing special ordered, custom, over sized, and large freight items
to collect up to 25% of the entire sum of the invoiced amount as stated
under our refund policy; as a restocking fee. International orders fall under these same guidelines as set forth here and
under our return/refund policy as stated to require prior approval and
up to 25% restocking fee.
Damaged Shipments
If
the package you receive is damaged in shipping, do not refuse delivery.
Accept the order and be sure to keep all packaging. Contact us and we
will make the necessary arrangements.
Paying for Your Purchase
Vital V-Twin Cycles Gift Certificates
Vital
V-Twin Cycles gift certificates can be used on any purchase from
Vital V-Twin Cycles and will not expire. They are available in
select denominations and can be used by phone, fax, online or in person.

Credit Cards
We
accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club
credit cards. International customers must pay any customs charges, VAT,
Taxes and other costs in addition to the shipping charge.
Credit Card Security Information
First-time
orders may be required to ship to the billing address for the first 30
days. First-time international customers may be required to fax to us
the portion of their most recent billing statement showing the name,
bank logo, billing address and last four digits of the credit card
number before orders can ship.
Check, Money Orders & Cashiers Checks
We
Welcome Your Check. We only accept payments by check from U.S.
customers with orders under $5,000. If your payment is returned due to
insufficient or uncollected funds, you authorize us to collect a Service
Charge drawn on your account. The Service Charge will be: $50 and or up
to 5% of total order amount. Use personal checks, money orders or
cashiers checks. Do not send cash! Personal checks must have your name,
and address pre-printed. Also include street address and phone,
handwritten if necessary. Without a street address and phone, or in the
case of new account “starter” checks, orders will be held 11 business
days for clearance. All orders paid with checks written on credit card
accounts will be held 11 business days for clearance, no exceptions.
Once your order and payment is received, please allow 7 to 10 business
days for delivery, based on availability of parts. If this is your first
order with Vital V-Twin Cycles, your payment may be subject to an
11 business day hold for clearance, for the first 30 days. Any check or
money order returned unpaid will be charged an additional service fee.

International & Domestic Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied. Our return policy works
like this:
1. You assume all knowledge of proper fitment
and dimensions associated with your application prior to purchase of any
product. We will provide such details as requested prior to purchase.
However, we are not responsible for incorrect product fitment based on
your decision to purchase a product.
2.
All returns must be in new unopened condition with original packaging and part number
labels and or stickers.
3. Shipping fees are not refundable. There
will be no refund of shipping cost to you or returned to us. All return shipping charges and insurance are your responsibility to pay for in association only to any "approved" return authorizations approved by us and issued an explicit return authorization number. Any call tag or return label for free shipping on any return must have prior approval and must be issued by us prior to any shipment.
4. Defective parts or parts sent to you in error
will be exchanged or refunded in full.
5. We reserve the right to charge a restocking
fee on any or all parts at a rate of 25% of your invoice. If returned to
us in any other condition than new or opened then we reserve the right to
charge up to a 50% restocking fee. Or, if completely damaged and
unusable from improper installation no refund will be provided and you are
responsible for providing return shipping on your damaged product.
6. If a special order is cancelled, a 10%
cancellation fee will be charged. There are no returns/refunds allowed on
special orders upon completion and or delivery to our location and/or prior to
arrival at invoiced shipping address.
7. Any item withdrawn from sale is subject to a
minimum 10% cancellation fee that will be deducted from Your payment.
8. Whenever possible we will refund your money
via your choice credit, exchange or refund. However, some items may only
be eligible for store credit to your account.
9. Special
order items, items with shop services or building services are not
returnable. All "Complete Engines," also known as "Long
Blocks," are considered to be a "Special Order" and thus are not
returnable. All crankshaft assemblies, cranks and or flywheel
assemblies are considered to be “Special Order” items and thus are not
returnable.
10. If an order of $500.00 or higher is canceled,
a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted.
11. All foreign (international) returns must
be authorized in advance. Please Contact Us if you have a foreign return. International orders are subject 25%
restocking fee or 25% cancelation fees.
You are responsible for all international shipping costs. International shipping costs are NOT
REFUNDABLE.
12. Returns must be received within 30 days of
invoice. All returns must be
pre-authorized with an explicit RA#. We
will not accept any return without an issued RA#. Any return sent to either a wrong address or without an RA # issued prior to shipment or without the RA# written on the box "will" be denied any refund or credit.
13. Used and Damaged Parts: Any part which, in
our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to
manufacturer’s instructions, and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging
or return shipping by the customer, will not be eligible for exchange, refund
or warranty consideration.
14. Exhaust Pipes and Mufflers: There is no
warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to discoloration. Bluing or
discoloration is caused by tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor
jetting, overheating, and so forth, and is NOT caused by defective
manufacturing. Once you have started your motorcycle, there is no refund on
exhaust pipes and mufflers, except in the case of a manufacturing defect.
15. Gas Tanks: You must use a gas tank sealer
with new gas tanks in order for any warranty to be valid. We strongly recommend
that all gas tanks be fitted, pressure-tested and sealed BEFORE painting in
order to eliminate potential problems.
16. Oil Tanks:
It is very common for oil tanks to have some rust on the inside. It is recommended to flush your oil tank
prior to use. Oil tanks will not be
exchange or returned based on this fact alone.
It is our discretion of to approve or deny any return on an oil tank
based on this known fact. Any oil tank
that shows signs of being flushed with oil will not be accepted as a return or
exchange.
17. Seats/Saddlebags/Windshields: Once mounted,
these items cannot be returned. Must be in new unopened condition, with no evidence of
wear or mount marks. We cannot re-sell a used seat, saddlebag or windshield to
another customer, so please be careful before mounting your new seat, saddlebag
or windshield to check fitment.
18. CD’s, DVD’s, Books, Manuals, Audio Cassettes,
Video Tapes & Software: Once delivered, none of these items can be returned.
19. We reserve the right on any order containing
special ordered, custom, over sized, and large freight items to either:
A. Deny and refuse any return or
cancelation. Sale is FINAL for special
orders, custom orders, over-sized freight, large dimensional items and high
value orders greater than $1000 USD.
B.
Or, if we approve any return on such item or order as described prior;
we may collect up to a 50% restocking fee of original order value to be
deducted of the entire sum of the original invoiced amount as stated under our
refund policy; as a restocking fee.
20. We are not responsible for and do not pay for
any International Customs Fees, Duties, Taxes or Brokerage Fees. We only charge you for shipping costs to ship
your order via the carrier of our choice.
You are responsible for any import fees charged to you upon
import. Refusal to pay these fees and
return of your order to us will result in a restocking fee up to 50% value of
all items on your existing invoiced order.
There is no refund on shipping charges.
21. Restocking fees are calculated on cost of
individual items only as shipping costs are not refundable. Example: you paid $16.98 in shipping costs
and $100 in parts for a total of $116.98.
With a 25% restocking fee, your refund would only be $75. Shipping of 16.98 and the restocking fee of $25
was subtracted from your original payment of 116.98. So your total refund would be $75.00 as an
example.
How to Return an Order:
Submit the online
form for a products return request to get an RMA# emailed to you after
submitting the request. Click https://vtwin.parts/account/return/add to submit a return.
You will be
emailed with in two business days your RMA#.
Return the part(s)
in the original box with the invoice number marked on the outside, the RMA
number marked on the outside and any original packaging slips & or
invoice on the inside.
Package the
returned items properly. When shipping merchandise back to us, please wrap
the part(s), place in a sturdy box and secure with tape. Do not leave the
part(s) loose in the package. Parts scratched or damaged in return
shipping due to inadequate packaging will not be accepted.
All returns must
be sent pre-paid. No collect shipments will be accepted.
Insure the
returned part for its full value to protect yourself against loss.
Send all returns
to the address provided in the return authorization email. We will provide you with an explicit address that your return must be shipped to. If you do not send your return to the address provided to you we will not credit your return.
We cannot accept
returns on special ordered parts. Parts showing signs of use and or installation also do not qualify for return status. All items must be new and un-opened with original packaging and labels with any instructions and or accessories.

Shipping Methods
We use UPS, FedEX and US Postal Service to ship all standard orders. Expedited services and orders containing aerosols, chemicals, batteries and other regulated material must ship via UPS or FedEX and require a street address or “911” rural route address. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box or an APO/FPO address. Some orders may ship directly from the manufacturer to expedite your shipment resulting in multiple packages.
